Abla was born in Ghana where her mother ran a company producing clothing and mainly lingerie. She then discovered materials, cuts and, of course developed a genuine passion for fashion and design.
After high school, she studied fashion design for a couple of years.
In 1989, just eighteen years old, she gains success and reputation by winning the first prize in the most important stylist-designer contest of Togo.
Abla made her first fashion show in Paris February 24, 2008. She presented her autumn winter 2008/2009 collection to an audience of five hundred people, including many journalists, namely Agence France Presse and France 5 International.
Her modern and ultra feminine style addresses a chic urban woman in soul. A woman who fully assumes her femininity while seeking certain simplicity.
The universe of ABLA VOLTA leads the woman to the rich territories of influences, where the draped antique cloth is combined with fine lace and leather.
